In the ongoing trial in Naples for the death of fourteen-year-old Martina Carbonaro, the Court of Assizes examined several key witnesses. According to reports by RaiNews, among the first to testify was the employer of the defendant Alessio Tucci, who described a telephone or online contact that took place around 10:00 p.m. on May 26, 2025. The man reported that the young man appeared calm while justifying his absence from work due to the inability to reach the young girl.

A young man residing in Northern Italy, with whom the victim had a daily exchange of messages, also testified in the courtroom via video link. The witness explained that the girl had mentioned to him recent tensions with her ex-boyfriend and her desire to meet him for a brief clarification. The last message sent by the young girl dates back to 8:23 p.m. that same evening, before subsequent communications remained definitively unanswered after 9:27 p.m.

The Court also gathered the deposition of a female friend of the defendant, who confirmed previous clashes and dynamics of jealousy within the couple, mentioning hangouts near the sports field of Afragola. In that area, inside an abandoned ruin, the minor's body was later found. The Prosecutor's Office charges the defendant with intentional homicide with various aggravating circumstances related to the personal relationship and the isolated location.

Outside the courthouse, the girl's mother, Enza Cossentino, expressed deep grief over the affair, asking for clarity on the motives behind the act. The judges established that Alessio Tucci will undergo his examination in court on next November 10 to answer the questions of the parties.
