From the Tuzla hospital, where he is admitted due to injuries sustained in the air crash, Lieutenant Colonel Flavio Favari, a medical officer, expressed deep gratitude for the support received. The officer, the sole survivor of the Medevac medical team on board the military helicopter that crashed in Bosnia, thanked delegates of the local Red Cross, Minister Guido Crosetto, and the leadership of the Italian Red Cross, as reported by the newspaper la Repubblica.

Among the injured involved in the tragedy is also Pietro Bersaglia, originally from Ischia di Castro in the Viterbo area. His sister Elisa publicly shared words of gratitude for the solidarity shown toward the family, while also expressing condolences to the relatives of the four deceased and wishing recovery for the other persons involved in the dramatic event.

Meanwhile, investigators are continuing inquiries to clarify the exact dynamics and causes that led to the aircraft's crash during the flight. The repatriation of the four bodies has been organized for tomorrow: the military aircraft carrying the bodies of Sergeants Simone Ruggia and Claudio Marchesi, Lieutenant Franco Adriano Zecchillo, and Sergeant Laura Procacci will land at Ciampino airport.

In memory of the two fallen members belonging to the Military Corps of the Red Cross, the organization has set up a memorial area in Rome, inside the chapel of the Luigi Pierantoni barracks, open to citizens to allow reflection and closeness to colleagues and the families affected by the bereavement.
