The Ukrainian defense forces carried out a combined operation on the night between October 30 and 31 against the Kamensky industrial plant, located in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky in the Russian Rostov oblast. This was reported by the Ukrainska Pravda newspaper, directly citing the bulletin of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, specifying that Neptune coastal missiles and drones were used in the action.
According to the data released by the military command in Kyiv, the raid involved unmanned aerial system units together with naval missile and artillery forces. The action reportedly caused damage to four production workshops and ignited a blaze inside the finished products warehouse located in the area of the hit industrial complex.
The targeted infrastructure is known for the manufacture of solid propellant intended for ammunition used by multiple rocket launch complexes such as Uragan, Smerch, and Tornado-S, in addition to other missile systems and air-launched weaponry. The target is part of the series of sites considered strategic by Ukrainian military authorities for supplying Moscow's arsenals.
In the same operational context, the General Staff reported a strike delivered against four logistical depots of the Russian army near Khartsyzk, Dokuchaievsk, Novovasylivka, and Novoaidar. Furthermore, on the same night, an additional drone attack was recorded against a refinery in Ufa, in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
