Dmytro Lubinets, Ukrainian Commissioner for Human Rights, announced the absence of incidents in Oleshky, an occupied city, for 30 hours since the start of the ceasefire. According to Ukrainska Pravda, Lubinets attributes the result to communication with his Russian counterpart, Yana Lantratova. The officials are actively coordinating humanitarian agreements.

Lubinets thanked Melania Trump for her direct involvement, which was fundamental for the humanitarian mission and assistance to civilians in Oleshky. Her participation and the coordination of efforts were central elements. The Commissioner praised his team for their continuous support.

The primary objective, reiterated by Lubinets, is to assist the civilian population of Oleshky and enable safe evacuations. On October 27, Lubinets had confirmed that, as of 5:30 PM Kyiv time, Ukraine and Russia were respecting the ceasefire agreements in the designated areas, without registering any violations.

The truce, valid until 10:59 PM on November 1, was announced by the White House on October 23. The agreement, attributed to Melania Trump, began in Oleshky at 03:00 AM Kyiv time on October 27, with Russian confirmation. The city, in the Kherson region, faces a severe humanitarian crisis.
