Tangier Bay is due to host the closing race of Régate 4 Med on 24 October 2026. The Italian Embassy in Rabat says the initiative, organised by the NGO Tibu Africa, brings together young people from twelve Mediterranean countries, including eight Italians.

Alongside sailing, the programme covers inclusion, marine protection and careers in the blue economy. A photographic exhibition featuring images from the Italian Sailing Federation is also announced.
