RTVE has announced “Raphael Inphinito”, a new interactive digital special about the career of singer Raphael. The initiative allows users to explore a vast repertoire of 731 recordings and 642 unique songs. Fans can navigate his artistic legacy and create personalized playlists, offering an immersive experience, as stated by the Spanish broadcaster.

The digital archive is the result of data collection work by DatosRTVE. The team compiled repertoire, discography, and album covers based on research from various sources, such as Discogs. It includes records published in Spain since 1962 and songs from other countries, with significant musical collaborations, for example for the soundtrack of “Meet the Robinsons” from 2007.

A key aspect is the use of artificial intelligence (AI). This analyzes song lyrics, identifying emotions, themes, and musical genres, and generates summaries. RTVE has specified that all 731 summaries and genre assignments have been reviewed by human personnel to ensure their accuracy.

AI supports the “Haz tu lista” function for creating ideal selections and identifies similar songs, combining textual analysis and audio measurements. The project was carried out by the Datos RTVE team, using open source models and its own infrastructure. The process is entirely recorded and verifiable.
