A serious road accident occurred along the link connecting Lezhë to Manati, near the Gurra neighborhood located in the municipal territory of Lezhë. As reported by the Albanian media outlet RTSH, the incident involved a single vehicle driven by a young driver, who suddenly lost control of his direction of travel during the journey.

According to the first information gathered, the automobile, a Benz car, left the roadway, first crashing into several elements and structures located at the edge of the road. Following the strong impact against these obstacles, the vehicle completely overturned along the roadway, causing extensive damage to the bodywork and partially blocking the affected section of the road.

The young man who was at the wheel sustained injuries and was promptly assisted by medical personnel who arrived at the scene. The injured person was then rushed to the Regional Hospital of Lezhë, a hospital facility where he was taken into the care of doctors to receive all necessary treatments and relevant clinical examinations.

Law enforcement officers and the investigative team in charge of the findings promptly intervened at the scene of the event. From the initial checks carried out, it is suspected that the high speed of the vehicle may have caused the loss of control, while the police continue to work to determine the exact full dynamics of the events.
